Love them, fear them, or somewhere in-between, spiders are some of the most magical animals on the planet that are everywhere around us quietly keeping ecosystems running!

Spend the afternoon with self-taught spider taxonomist and science communicator, Joe Lapp, learning about the strange and endearing real-life spider-verse that surrounds us.

This program will begin with a short presentation indoors and be followed by a meandering exploration of the grounds near Clifton’s peach house in search of our charismatic arach-neighbors. Warning: this program may lead to new feelings of endearment to that spider that lives in your shower.
