Journal Sketching with Armand Cabrera- EVENT FULL
Saturday, Apr 13, 2019
1:00pm – 4:00pm
Sketching in a journal can be a fun way of recording your travel or hiking experiences. Much more intimate than a photo, journal sketches are a great, low-tech way of capturing memories. This class will focus on basic techniques for sketching in pen and pencil. Participants will be shown fundamental methods that can, with continued practice, lead to successfully drawing anything through direct observation.
Armand will demo and describe how to start a drawing. He will then work with students to help them apply the information to their images. Students will receive lots of individual attention. This class will be a relaxed, noncompetitive environment with personal instruction, geared towards the aptitude of each participant.
