Night Sky Photography Workshop

Friday, Jan 25, 2019

6:30pm – 8:30pm

Night sky photography has become popular, but to be successful there are special techniques to learn. This evening will be a basic introduction into the equipment and techniques. Bring your cameras, instruction books and most of all, a tripod. If you do not have one, there will be a couple available to borrow. We will start with a slide show, followed by camera set-up. Then we will move outside to take some pictures! If the night is clear, there will be stars. If cloudy, we can still set up and practice Please note that not all cameras can take good images at night. The best ones are newer DSLRs (in most price ranges, you do not need a high end one), but some point and shoots with manual settings are also usable.

NOTE: The date of this event changed from Jan 18th to Jan 25th. We hope you can still join us!
