Nature Lab: Lepidopterology SOLD OUT

Wednesday, May 12, 2021

10:00am – 12:00pm

This program is SOLD OUT.

Come be scientists with us! For this Nature Lab, we will explore our trails, searching for different species of butterflies in various habitats. (This is also a great opportunity for students in grades 6-12 to see if they might be interested in our Young Scientists Research Program this summer!)

Cost: $10 per student

Age: Grades K-8; drop-off only. Students will be divided into groups based on grade level.

Weather policy: Date and time subject to change dependent on weather. Please check your email for updates on the morning of the event.

COVID-19 information: This program will occur entirely outside and is limited to 10 students per age group. Social distancing and mask wearing is required, so please bring one with you. Please DO NOT attend if you or anyone in your household has experienced any symptoms related to the coronavirus in the last two weeks. The farmhouse will be closed, but a port-a-potty is available.

Cancellation policy: No refunds will be given upon registrant cancellation. Refunds will only be given in the event that The Clifton Institute cancels the program. If you register and can no longer attend this event, please let us know as soon as possible. Due to smaller group size limits imposed by COVID, many of our events have waitlists, and a few ‘no-shows’ have a significant impact.

What to wear: Dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes.

What to bring: Mask (required), bottle of water, binoculars (if you have them)
