Mindful Naturalists: Beaver Watch

Wednesday, Apr 7, 2021

6:30pm – 7:45pm

Wildlife watching can be a very mindful practice. To celebrate International Beaver Day, this month’s Mindful Naturalists program will include an evening of beaver watching! We’ll gather (socially distant) around the pond and settle in to watch for beavers and other wildlife as night falls. Bring a mask, a chair or blanket to sit on, binoculars, and a headlamp. Minimal walking required.

Cost: Free!

Age: Adults

Weather policy: Date and time subject to change dependent on weather. Please check your email for updates on the morning of the event.

COVID-19 information: This program will occur entirely outside and is limited to 15 people. We will practice social distancing and wear masks, so please bring one with you. Please DO NOT attend if you or anyone in your household has experienced any symptoms related to the coronavirus in the last two weeks. The farmhouse will be closed.

Cancellation policy: If you register and can no longer attend this event, please let us know as soon as possible. Due to smaller group size limits imposed due to COVID-19, many of our events have waitlists, and a few ‘no-shows’ have a significant impact.

What to wear: Dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes.

What to bring: Mask (required), bottle of water, bug spray, binoculars, headlamp, blanket or chair to sit on

Registration REQUIRED: By clicking the ‘Register’ button below, you agree that you have read and understood the information included on our liability release form (click here). Please make sure you click through to the ‘Confirmed’ button and that you receive a confirmation email. This ensures that your registration is completely processed.
