Animal Behavior Class

This three-hour class will introduce methods for studying animal behavior and the ethics of ethology, and provide the opportunity for students to practice data collection while observing waterfowl on our ponds.

Cost: $10

Age: Grades 6 to 12, drop off only.

Weather policy: Date and time subject to change dependent on weather. Please check your email for updates on the morning of the event.

COVID-19 information: This program will occur entirely outside and is limited to 12 people. We will practice social distancing and wear masks, so please bring one with you. Please DO NOT attend if you or anyone in your household has experienced any symptoms related to the coronavirus in the last two weeks. The farmhouse will be closed.

Cancellation policy: No refunds will be given upon registrant cancellation. Refunds will only be given in the event that The Clifton Institute cancels the program. If you register and can no longer attend this event please let us know as soon as possible. Due to smaller group size limits imposed by COVID, many of our events have waitlists, and a few ‘no-shows’ have a significant impact.

What to wear: Dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes.

What to bring: Mask (required), hat, bottle of water, sunscreen, bug spray, binoculars, camera, mat, chair
