EVENT FULL Introduction to Nature Journaling
Saturday, Oct 17, 2020
1:00pm – 3:00pm
Nature journaling is a wonderful way learn about nature and make lasting memories of the time we spent outside. And it’s really fun! In this program, Managing Director Eleanor Harris will give a brief introduction to the practice of nature journaling, with examples, strategies, and tips. We’ll spend most of the program out in nature, practicing nature journaling together. Come if you’re an expert nature journaler or if you’ve never tried it before! Please bring your own drawing materials. Just a piece of paper and a pencil or pen will suffice. Colored pencils or a small watercolor set can also be fun. We recommend wearing outdoor clothing, including closed-toed shoes, long pants, and a hat, as well as bringing a water bottle. We also suggest bringing a camp stool / chair / seating pad. This program is intended for adults. Children ages 12 and up are welcome if accompanied by adults at all times. We are offering a Nature Journaling program for kids on September 17th.
This event will be entirely outdoors and limited to 15 participants, with social distancing required. Please bring a mask.
IMPORTANT- PLEASE READ: If you register for this event and decide you can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible. Due to smaller group size limits already imposed by COVID-19, many of our events have waitlists, and a few ‘no-shows’ can have a significant impact on the success of a program. We enjoy planning, promoting, and hosting these events and want to make sure they are available to everyone who is interested in attending. We appreciate your support and we’ll see you soon!
