Walk with a Naturalist

Saturday, Aug 8, 2020

10:00am – 12:00pm

Join us for a walk on our trails with one our naturalists. Unlike most of our programs, we won’t be looking for anything in particular. Instead we’ll amble and explore and see what we can find. This is a great time of year to get outside! There are lots of pollinators flying, flowers blooming, and turtles sunning themselves in the ponds.

Please park at the lower parking area (“the gap”). Outdoor clothing, including waterproof footwear and hats recommended. Binoculars and cameras suggested.

We will be implementing the following rules to keep everyone safe:

-There will be no bathrooms available and no access to the farmhouse.

-The group will be limited to 15 people or fewer.

-We will adhere to social distancing recommendations and keep 6 feet apart.

-No sharing of binoculars, spotting scopes, etc.

-Wearing masks is recommended.

Please use the button below to register. If you are registered and can no longer attend this event please let us know as soon as possible. Due to smaller group size limits already imposed by COVID, many of our events have waitlists, and a few ‘no-shows’ can have a significant impact on the success of a program. We enjoy planning, promoting, and hosting these events and want to make sure they are available to everyone who is interested in attending. Thank you!
