7:30am – 10:30am

We are resuming our twice monthly bird walks with the following additional guidelines to keep everyone safe:

-There will be no bathrooms available and no access to the farmhouse.

-The group will be limited to ten people or fewer.

-We will adhere to social distancing recommendations and keep 6 feet apart.

-No sharing of binoculars, spotting scopes, etc.

-Wearing masks is recommended.

Novice and experienced birders will enjoy this guided 1-2 mile hike to look for the many species of birds that can be found on the field station. We will explore successional fields, meadows, lake edges, and forest.

Outdoor clothing, including waterproof footwear and hats recommended. Binoculars and cameras suggested.

Children ages 12 and up are welcome to attend if accompanied by an adult at all times.

Please use the button below to register. If you are registered and can no longer attend this event please let us know as soon as possible. Due to smaller group size limits already imposed by COVID, many of our events have waitlists, and a few ‘no-shows’ can have a significant impact on the success of a program. We enjoy planning, promoting, and hosting these events and want to make sure they are available to everyone who is interested in attending. Thank you!
