Homeschool Animal Behavior Class
Thursday, Feb 6, 2020
9:00am – 12:00pm
This three-hour class will introduce methods for studying animal behavior and the ethics of ethology to homeschool students ages 13-18. We will learn about scan, all-occurrence, and focal animal sampling, practice by observing waterfowl on our ponds, and conclude the class by constructing an activity budget based on the data we collect. Drop-off and pick-up will occur at the peach-colored farmhouse. Students should dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes (rubber boots if you have them), and bring a watch and/or a cell phone.
Cost: $10 per student
