Piedmont Polliwogs: Turkey Time- EVENT FULL

Wednesday, Nov 13, 2019

10:00am – 11:30am

‘Piedmont Polliwogs’ is a free, monthly program for children ages 2-5 (accompanied by a parent/caregiver). Each program will include outdoor story time, a quick nature walk, and an activity or craft project related to the theme.

In November, join us for Turkey Time! Let’s think about wild turkeys instead of the domesticated birds on our Thanksgiving plates. The Clifton Institute offers great habitat for these birds so we’re the perfect place to learn all about what they eat, how they raise their young, and how they live in groups with other turkeys! Then we’ll play ‘Follow the Turkey Leader’ on a short hike through the shrublands.

When signing up, please include the adult caregiver’s name, but only register the number of participating children. Please email Alison at azak@cliftoninstitute.org if you have any questions. Thanks!
