Mindful Naturalists: Nature Yoga

Sunday, Sep 29, 2019

6:15pm – 7:30pm

Mindful Naturalists is a new, FREE program series designed to inspire appreciating each moment of our observations in nature. Each month we will explore a different topic and experiment with a different practice for mindfully experiencing the natural world while enjoying a peaceful evening at our beautiful field station.

This September join us for Nature Yoga with Mary Brown!

Experience the power of mental and physical rejuvenation while connecting with nature. This slow paced yoga class brings peace, vitality and healing to the mind and body. The class will offer a grounding Hatha flow focused on stretching the shoulders, back and neck and gently opening the heart and hips. The class eases into seated poses, releasing neck tension and warming the spine, then moves into a slow flowing series of standing postures designed to enhance flexibility and encourage detoxification and balance. Join us for this peaceful practice to unwind the physical and mental tensions of the day while stretching deeply with ease and connecting all your senses to the natural world around you.

Mary is a certified, RYT-200 yoga teacher at Main Street Wellness Company in Warrenton. Paramount to her teaching is helping each and every student benefit from and find meaning in their time on the mat.
