iNaturalist is a powerful tool for people to learn about nature and to contribute to science, but we’ve heard from lots of people that they aren’t sure how to use it. In this program, we will give a brief talk about how valuable iNaturalist is for scientists and why we love it so much before giving a tour of the app and website. Then we’ll practice taking pictures and uploading them to the app. Depending on weather we will likely spend some time exploring outdoors. Please download the iNaturalist app onto your phone before you arrive.
