DESCRIPTION:Join us for our monthly Saturday YHikes! (Youth Hikes). Families are invited to come along as we explore the field station and learn about the animals, fungi and plants that live here. You never know what we’ll find! We’ll be outside for most of the morning, but we won’t get very far because we stop so often to look at and learn about all the different species that live in northern Virginia.

Parents are welcome to drop off their child or they may attend the program. Closed-toe, preferably waterproof, shoes or boots, hats, and water bottles are recommended.

Age: 6 and up
