Dragonflies are some of the most mysterious and beautiful animals that live at the Clifton Institute. Join us as we welcome Dr. Steve Roble, zoologist with the Virginia Division of Natural Heritage, for a program on dragonfly and damselfly biology and identification.  Following Dr. Roble\'s presentation, we will visit lakes, streams, and fish-free vernal pools, each of which host distinct dragonfly communities. So far we have observed 35 species of dragonflies and 14 species of damselflies at Clifton! Good (waterproof) hiking shoes, hats, binoculars, cameras and water bottles are strongly recommended.

Date and time subject to change based on weather. RSVP required. Please RSVP using the registration button below or email bharris@cliftoninstitute.org
