DESCRIPTION:Multiple studies show the benefits of yoga and outdoor play for kids, so outdoor yoga is sure to have a positive impact on the physical, emotional, and mental health of children. Animal Yoga, taught by Education Associate and certified RYT-200 yoga teacher Ms. Alison, uses nature-related poses to share information about the natural world and to reinforce concepts of connectedness and interdependence with all beings and the earth. We will move, breathe, and use our senses to consider what the experience of other animals may be like and to learn more about ourselves, life, and the world around us. Most importantly animal yoga allows kids (and grown-ups who are kids-at-heart!) to be kids- silly and loud and playful!

Cost: FREE

Age: Families with children ages 6 and up, accompanied by an adult

Weather policy: Date and time subject to change dependent on weather. Please check your email for updates on the morning of the event.

COVID-19 information: This program will occur entirely outside and is limited to 15 people. We will practice social distancing. Please DO NOT attend if you or anyone in your household has experienced any symptoms related to the coronavirus in the last two weeks. The farmhouse will be closed.

Cancellation policy: If you register and can no longer attend this event please let us know as soon as possible. Due to smaller group size limits imposed by COVID, many of our events have waitlists, and a few ‘no-shows’ have a significant impact.

What to wear: Comfy clothes you can move in!
What to bring: Masks for everyone in the family, bottle of water, yoga mats/blanket/towels
