It\'s YHikes! but at night! Families with children ages 6 and older are invited to come along as we explore the field station and learn about the animals, fungi and plants that live here. You never know what we’ll find! This program is an wonderful opportunity for families to explore nature together. We pick a different trail to explore each month and usually move slowly as we stop often to look at and learn about all the different species that live in northern Virginia.

Please note:

-There will be no bathroom/farmhouse access.

-Binoculars and other materials will no longer be provided.

-Masks are recommended.

-We will be more spread out on the trail than usual to allow for social distancing.

-Registration is limited to 10 people.

This event is free. Closed-toe, preferably waterproof, shoes or boots, bug spray, and water bottles are recommended. Please bring a flashlight/headlamp!
