DESCRIPTION:Join us for our monthly Saturday YHikes! (Youth Hikes). Families with children ages 6 and older are invited to come along as we explore the field station and learn about the animals, fungi and plants that live here. You never know what we’ll find! We’ll be outside for most of the morning, but we won’t get very far because we stop so often to look at and learn about all the different species that live in northern Virginia.

This event is free. Closed-toe, preferably waterproof, shoes or boots, hats, sunscreen, bug spray, and water bottles are recommended.
